I have a 2015 DC that is quiet as a church mouse with the exception of an intermittent passenger seat rattle when on a choppy road. Sometimes I can replicate it by hitting the top of the seat in short little stabs and sometimes I cant. I have read all posts concerning this and have tightened up and padded every last piece of plastic on the seat, tried removing the headrest, placed the seat in different positions, which does help slightly. I was wondering if anyone ever came up with a concrete solution and can tell me where the damn high frequency rattle is coming from? Thanks

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
My seat has a problem of not lining up left to right which causes a rattle/squeak at times. Move the seat forward and back a few times and make sure it's locked even left to right.

Thanks, I've tried that, to no avail. If I lay the back of the seat flat as its designed to do when carrying cargo, its silent. I cant for the life of me pinpoint where in the seat the noise is coming from. sounds like from dead center.

Found my rattle which wasn't a rattle at all. I installed new leather Katzkins and where the bottom and back of the passenger seat meets, the vibrating caused the leather in between to stick and unstick and it sounded exactly like a rattle. Folding the back forward or when the truck is parked in the sun on a hot afternoon and the noise completely went away so I placed a towel between the seat to separate leather on leather and after 3 days, still no rattle. Yesterday I picked up a small hand towel that is gray and matches the seat perfectly, folded it very neatly placed it between the bottom and back and put the seat back up into the upright position. Silence is golden and you cant see the towel since its between the back and bottom cushion. Interestingly, the seat back doesn't vibrate nearly as much either. Truck on the roughest road, is again quiet as a church mouse

had that rattle on my 2014 AC, the seats are so high without enough support down where they attach,, i stuffed a towel between the seat and console and it did not rattle then,,, open your passenger door, and hit the top of your seat towards the drivers side,, back and forth side to side , you will hear it rattle... also you can try wrapping the seatbelt around the back of the seat and make it tight,, lol... the seat in my pro doesnt do that,, thats one of the several reasons or maybe it was 8 reasons i got rid of my 2014 off road xc.. it was one of those trucks made on an off day......... IMO...... no complaints with this one so far, almost 10,000 miles on her,,,,,,
