Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust system FS/FT

I have a dual rear cat back exhaust Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust system on my 2006 Tacoma that I am looking to sell/trade. I am looking for your stock exhaust and $100. This system was roughly $600 new. It has been on my truck since 2012 and has approximately 30,000-40,000 miles on it. There isn't any rust any where and the system is in great condition. The tips do show signs of wear, especially on the bottom from regular road grime. There are water spots on the bottom of the muffler in the picture. It is NOT rust. I just washed the truck prior to taking the picture. I am wanting to sell the exhaust because I travel approximately 500 miles a week and am wanting to quiet down the truck as much as possible. I just bought some new Michelins to put on it. That should help too! Plus my wife complains every time she rides in it. So, I'm going back to stock.

According to the Flowmaster site, it will fit the following Tacomas: 2005-2012 2WD or 4WD V6 4.0. It excludes standard cab and xrunners. You will need to confirm fitment before buying. The exhaust system is currently still on my truck so I'm more interested in a local swap and again, I will need a stock system to put on my truck prior to selling this kit. I am looking for a system with less than 100,000 miles on it and in decent condition. No rust on the muffler/pipe/tip, broken welds/brackets, etc. Feel free to email me with any questions. Haha, I'd be completely interested, but unfortunately my exhaust is a bit older than what you're looking for @128,xxx.

 

I have a Double cab short bed, but on the flow master site it is worded as it would fit either a short or long bed? The only exclusions are a standard cab and xrunner. Maybe someone on here has some experience with this?

 

Where are you located and what condition is your exhaust in?

 

Central AL, but also spend time in northern AL. Exhaust is in decent shape as far as I can tell, just shows the normal wear you'd expect at its age (2005).

 

I wouldn't say it's out of the question then. Can you send me a picture of how the pipe looks at the tip and a picture of the muffler?

 

I can't believe there are none in your area. I looked on Craigslist. I see them all the time. I have mine sitting in my garage with 30k on it. Drive out and I will help you put it on for the ride back.
