Hello Folks.I have a 2013 Taco that I installed Boss coilovers on about a year ago.The truck has dropped about 3/4".I want to adjust them to level it out.I can't get the two collars loose.I emailed Toytec and never heard back.I have the supplied spanner wrench but I have no way to hold both collars.Do I have to remove these to loosen the collars?Anybody know any tricks to loosen these without all of the extra work? Thanks.

Loosen the bottom collar first, then you can adjust the top one. spray some kind of wd-40 so it is easier to adjust and good look.

I've tried that. The issue is that both of the collars are not loosening from each other.

Try setting your wrench on the bottom one and try hitting it with hammer. Should break loose.

I have the Bilstein version with the same springs and spanner wrench. The only way to adjust it is with the weight of the truck off the springs. Even then due to the things in your way you only get a little movement each time. And wear some good leather gloves !
