Turning off the seat belt reminder on a 2015

Hey all I just got a 2015 Tacoma and I love the truck but the seat belt dinger is the most annoying one I've ever had on any vehicle before. I've read the guides on how to do it but they all say they've done it on 2012 or older Tacomas. I don't know if I'm just not doing it right or if they changed it or removed the ability to do it but I couldn't get it to work. I scoured the manual looking for a way to do it and I never could come up with anything in there either. Anyone know more than me on it?

 

The ability to turn off this feature is now not as easily done on the 12+'s

You can have the dealer do it, do not let them charge you money, it is a simple 2 minute procedure with their tech stream computer, its one of two "customizable features" show in their techstream software.

You can also do it via a bluetooth OBD reader and a Telnet terminal on a computer

 

I have seen what are called "seat belt buckle nulls" you insert so the system thinks the belt is plugged in ....

should be able to find them on ebay or Amazon

I buckle up on the road it's just when I get on private land and I drive 15 mph on a dirt road by myself I don't need one on. So if I buy this I can use it to turn off that setting?
