Am planning to order a set of waterproof neoprene seat covers this week. Will go with CR grade neoprene like Wet Okole and not neosupreme. Anyone here live in a hot climate that has complaints about truly waterproof neoprenes and wouldn't buy again?

I have Wet Okole seat covers, and live in a somewhat hot area (around 90 for the past week, very humid). I find that normally it's my back that sweats versus my ass. That really only happens if the seat covers themselves have been heated by the sun coming directly through the windshield or the front windows.

Edit: Despite that, I am very happy with them and would buy again. I have Max-4 camo and black covers, so some colors that are lighter may not get as hot.

I've read many people complain of swamp ass with Wet Okoles on here. If what you are looking at is the same material I would assume the same issue. haha

It is with great shame and sorrow, that I must admit my own swamp ass woes with neoprene seat covers.

Same. My Coverking neoprenes can get uncomfortable from sweat, but to me, it's still worth it.

I have them on my Subaru with no real problems in that regard. Bought them for my truck but it's still at the dealer for the frame recall. I currently have the TRD seat covers. The problem with those is the burn the shit out you if left in direct sunlight and freeze your balls off in the winter.

So, then your choices are do nothing, get swampy ass or frozen balls?

    watching with interest.

I often get in pretty wet with saltwater after a kayak outing. I'm kinda dried off, but shorts/pants and even bottom of shirt may be wet. I just use a doubled over beach towel to sit on and behind my back. No water has made it though to the seats yet.

I've considered the covers, but the ones I've seen installed, while looking good, just appear so uncomfortable. I mean I don't even like a wet suit all that much............
