Totally solid. The aluminum channel on bottom of the tent seems to take the entire load for all the occupants in the tent. The two bed bars are just to balance the tent and mount it to the truck. The tent comes with hardware for mounting to two bars (like typical roof racks), and the two bars will hold more than what the tent is rated for, so I have no worries.

Eight bolts and the bars come off really easy too, for when I have to carry big loads.

That looks awesome! I just bought my relentless rack last week in the tall version as well and I'll be getting the tent shortly after the rack arrives. Will post pictures!

Do you recommend getting the rack powder coated, or will rustoleum primer + bedliner work well?

I went with the powder coating from relentless, I've done the bedliner can from pep boys on cars and boats and it always turned out really nice. For me it was worth the extra $$ to just have them do it.

Just a few expensive & DIY things...
I've got one similar I am going to sell.
The one benefit it has vs all others is it has a canvas cover as well you can use.

I think $500ish would be fair.

Take a look at the photos I have if you are interested.

I'm looking at the bed racks for a RTT. Did you get one that you would recommend?

    Thanks!

I ended up getting the pelfreybuilt and really like it. I also got a chance to see the BAMF and relentless designs in person and those would have been great options as well. I ended up with the pelfreybilt because I bought it used from a friend.
