Cragar Soft 8 fitment?

I've been shopping around for awhile for a set of black steelies for my 08 taco. Want to stay with the stock size - 16x7 6x5.5. I've been trying to find a set of 16 hole black steel wheels that match the spare tire rim, but can't seem to find any available. I've found a few sites that offer reconditioned wheels, but would rather go with something new, and the Cragar soft 8's caught my eye. Will these fit without interference on my front brake calipers without spacers? I would like to avoid using those if I can. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

would I be able to bolt these on without any issues?

 

They should work fine but every wheel has different shapes on the inside. The offset and backspacing should allow you to run wider tires and they will stick out a bit farther than stock. Just enough to look good but won't require any bigger fenders or flaps.

Summit allows you to search by offset diameter and backspacing. You want less than 4.5 bs and 0 or - offset to not rub the UCA or frame. The more bs and offset you have the closer you will get to the cab mount and fenders. That is why this is such a hard thing to know. What size tires do you think?

 

Nothing crazy. Want to stay with stock size tires but want to get away from the dunlops. I'm not looking for crazy mods, just a better looking wheel

 

4.5 to 4 backspacing -12 to +10 offset.

Somewhere in those ranges will be a nice fitting wheel. The closer you go to 4 inch bs the closer to zero you want the offset otherwise the combined effect will make the rim stick out really far
