First load with my two week old truck. Hauled it quite well. Just a little lift of the front end.

    28 - 12" composite deck boards
    6 - 2x6x8'
    2 - 4x4x10'

Did you just leave the tail gate down? How did you secure the boards?

Would be curious to know the total weight of the cargo.

Estimate that the total load was 1100# including the two passengers.

Looks like your truck handled the load well.

I failed to notice the bed extender before my first post. Those things are handy.

Actually I think you posted before I had the picture thingy figured out. Went about 40 miles with no issues. Drove well. I know it squatted some as I could tell the front end was up a bit. My wife kept commenting about not seeing out the front of the truck as well.

The first load I had in the bed was just shy of 1500 pounds. I did have 14 4x4 posts resting on the closed tailgate, but I had bags of concrete, 4x4 posts and some retaining wall blocks all back there. No issues getting it home. I haven't pushed it that much since, but with my yard remodel, on average I have had 1000-1200 pounds with each trip
