    My 2.7 doesn't have any underhood insulation at all. Is this normal? Haven't seen many new vehicles without it...

    Thanks, never even noticed it didn't have it till today. Was worried about the paint if it was supposed to have it.

    As far as I know, none of the second generation Tacomas have hood insulation. Hood insulation is available on 4Runners, but I do not know if it would fit a Tacoma. As the hood insulation is expensive, I am not going to purchase any in order to find out.
