I know this is not a runner section, but this is the busiest section and I need some help.

I had a 2006 4Runner. It was a sick yota. Anyways, sold it to my mother in law. She got some "drive wise" from all state insurance company. (A thing you plug in) Now every light is on the dash. She's super freaked out and planning on killing a insurance agent. Does anyone have any ideas on reseting these lights?

Unplug that dongle, toss it in the trash. After that, disconnect the negative battery post for a couple minutes. Reattach battery cable. Lights should be gone.

Note: The truck will start, then die. Start it again and all should be good.

She's saying they disconnected the battery and the lights are still on. Could it be a fuze or relay?

I think he is talking about those things that insurance companies give to plug in the OBDII port to track your driving habits. His is screwing with the truck. I think.

Did you Chuck the dongle? I'm betting one or more or the contact pins are shorting out. Inspect it closely.

She tried to explain where, but I positive it's in the OBDII port. What does "chuck the dongle" mean?

Oh yeah. She's saving it to feed to the insurance agent.

She's said she took it out. Then did the battery. Still got lights.
