He found one in Greeley at Northern Co. Drive line. They had one on the shelf.
Now we get to figure out why he has a cel and it won't go into 4wd...There was a slight impact from the shaft against the actuator assembly hanging off the back, wondering if something got jammed. You can hear it struggle to engage but it sounds normal when it disengages.

    (J shifter ftw btw)

I found a broken case of CCI that came in at work so I was able to get it at .50 over cost. Only 100 rounds but still ended up costing like $10 after tax.

Up in Granby. The previous owner left a sweet electric bike in the garage!

Wife woke me up last night when she got home from work "My battery light is flashing on the Jeep, and it smells like it's burning"

(Im silently hoping she parked it in the driveway and not the garage due to the 'burning' smell)

...I go downstairs and instantly detect the odor is down thing burning...gets stronger as I get to the garage (she got her butt chewed for bringing something that she thinks is burning in the garage and closes it)

I pop the hood and don't detect any major heat...I found the alternator housing to be burnt to shit....asked her to move it to the driveway and OUT of the garage to get some fresh air...no interior lights / doesn't crank..."will it explode if i try to start it?" Lol...

Got home from work and tested the battery (2 years old) came back zero...
I pulled the battery and had Autozone replace it under warranty.

Grabbed an alternator (lifetime warranty with it) for $189.

Swapped both out and it's good to go!

yeah I was all like "sweet Camp fires!"... now I'm like... "fuck if I want camp fires in the rain!"

I wonder what the impact is on towns like Lyons that were hit so hard with the flood... they may not be flooding... but all that extra water does have an impact on erosion...

Might as well live in the Northwest. And here I was hoping to get some fishing in tomorrow at Rampart.

I'm leaving to camp in a few hours, rain has never stopped me before. If you get wet, your gear needs an upgrade. Gonna be a hairy wet dog kind of weekend with a mix of mud, pine needles, smoky campfire and spilt beer. :D

I feel bad riding trails when it's muddy. I hear slaughterhouse may have a stewardship day Saturday if the rains let's up. Need to schedule a rafting day with this rain fishing will be too muddy
