hey everybody, I have a 2011 access cab 2.7 automatic Tacoma with 46,000 miles on it and I love but I find myself wanting more. well anyways I found a 2008 access cab Tacoma 4.0 v6 6 spd manual with 100,000 miles which is everything I want besides the mileage. should the mileage be concerning?

Depends on the trucks history. A guy i play pool with has an 08 trd that i tried to get him to sell to me half a year ago. It has 100,000 mi. He bought it brand new, and takes care of his stuff very well. So i wouldnt have even blinked with buying it. Unfortunately he wasnt ready to sell yet, so i got my truck i have now. If i didn't know where the truck was coming from, i would probably steer clear of a truck with 100,000.

    Reserected from the dead.
Carfax blows. Go to the Toyota Care website, create an account and enter the Vin. You do not even need to own the vehicle. All dealer service will come up. Its free and a pretty powerful tool for getting info.

Be careful. This Tacoma was also purchased at a dealer with an accident not shown on Carfax.

I bought my Tacoma from a dealer with 84k miles and I absolutely love it. planning on driving it until it's dead. If the outside is in really good condition, chances are they probably took care of it and had regular maintenance. Just inspect it thoroughly, maybe have a mechanic take a look as well. If you are too paranoid to buy a nice used rig with a clean carfax from a dealer, then you should probably just get a brand new one. Lots of people drive these things for many miles past 100k. If the price is right, I don't see why not! That's the way I see it at least...
