Astraa70's 03 DC build

So I picked up some Hella 700FF lights for the bumper this week. $82 bucks at 4wheelparts. Installed today, but need a better switch. I may go test them out tonight. (I have it all wired except the switch.) any ideas on a switch and location of it? Do they look too big? I don't care for the bright white rock covers.

Finally got a switch for the lights. Planning on install this weekend. pics to come. I got the switches from OTRATTW and am wondering if I can swap out the factory rear locker switch to a rocker switch. Does anyone know or done this?

 

lookin good man. Ive got the same set up in the front like u have with the bumper the only thing urs is new mine is used. Im wondering if ARB has just the bumpstops for it. I want to order new signal lights and the logo for it to but idk. r them carter keys u have at the end of the recovery shackle bolt? Thats a good idea u got their. Truck is looking awesome man.

 

Those are the new style D-rings that have the quick disconnect with a cotter type pin. I am sure that ARB sells individual parts for thier bumpers. I bet they arent cheap!

 

So, its been a while since I posted. I added an XRC 8 with sythetic line, Just purchased the King Extended Travel shocks and Camburg UCA's with teh uniball from DSMS. I cant wait to install. I will be replacing mu OEM CV 's at the same time. I can decide if I want to remove teh sway bar. I fear a panic type scenario where I will need to brake and swerve to miss a car or deer and the body roll could put me out of control. Any thoughts on this?

I will be selling my OME front setup. They have maybe 6k miles on them. Let me know if you know anyone interested.

 

What are you going with instead of OME?

Just need some good weather to get these installed.

I will be selling my current OME setup. As you can see this stuff has hardly any age or miles on them.

 

MT setup getting installed this weekend. Pics to come.

Selling OME 882 with 10mm spacers and Nitro Sports. All have 5k miles on them and were installed last July. $300

 

New setup.

 

PITA to adjust with a 700#spring. I still need to fine tune. I have not been off road yet, but I don't feel the night and day difference from the OME setup on pavement. I deleted the sway bar.

anyone interested in the OME coils/nitro sport combo? I also have the 10mm aluminum spacer, the OEM front bumper, drop in bed liner, OEM UCA, original spare wheel/tire. still has the "spare" sticker on it. Original IFS skids. Ill post in the for sale section when I get pics tomorrow.

 

Also bought a RAT IFS skid plate and a full size spare finally...installing today.

 

LoneStar Toyota Jamboree coming up...first test for the truck with new suspension. Pictures to come.

 

How much weight do you have up front? Are the 700# springs to harsh?

 

How has the firestik worked for you in that location? Is that a 4 or 5'? No spring?

I'm trying to decide on my antenna selection and mounting location.. Keep second guessing myself..
