Want bigger gas tank need help

    Hi everyone,
    Ive got the 2015 Tacoma 4.0l v6 engine. I have the 22 gallon tank and I want to carry an extra 20 gallons of gas or a total 35 gallons. Anyone know of how I would do this? Thanks for all input.

    Something you might consider is the extra weight of the gas + new gas tank might kill your mpg's but you might have other plans for the truck than that, might I ask what you need a 40+ gallon tank for? Expedition build possibly?

    A while back there was a guy on here making a 35 gallon tank for the 05+ tacoma. Do a search for it. Not sure he's still doing it but maybe another fab shop could offer assistance especially with a few pics from that thread for inspiration

    Thanks guys for all the feedback. Not worried about the mpgs because I bought a Toyota lol. But I want a bigger tank for hunting long periods of time without filling up. I wouldn't mind a tank in the bed but trying to figure out the best way to get an extra 20 gallons
