    X2 I have been looking at the same thing and didn't know if this was a good route or if oem is the way to go.

    I bought a U-Haul receiver when I had my Frontier. I never had any problems with it. I think they're made by Curt??

    OP here.
    I ended up replacing my stock rear bumper with a CBI rear bumper. Now I have 3 recovery points, including the hidden receiver.
    Expensive way to go, but it solves more problems than just the lack of a rear recovery point
