2015 Dealer sprays frame

I live in Mid Michigan, and just recently picked up my truck

Part of the deal was to have it undercoated at the delaership.

Any idea of the difference between the dealer, and some other aftermarket undercoating company (like Ziebart, for example) ??

What he said^^^^^^. Dealer price $$$ aftermarket price$$. I am in Canada and use rustcheck brand which is an oil type application and it needs to be reapplied yearly. I believe the dealer here uses a rubberized undercoating which needs to be checked and touched up if the undercoating separates.

 

If you use the dealer, you will automatically be enrolled in a frame rust thru program. Do not miss any scheduled frame inspection appointments. If they find the frame is perferated, and you have made all inspection appointments, you have a good chance at frame replacement or buy back. Do not miss any inspections, toyota knows people are basically lazy, so they count on people blowing off the inspection, thus toyota has a valid excuse to deny repairs or replacement to your vehicle.
