Reputable Toyota Repair in Beaverton Oregon area

    We have a 1st Gen Tacoma, and are looking for a reputable repair shop in the Beaverton, Oregon area (outside Portland). With 86k miles on the clock, the engine and transmission seem strong, no problems yet although I think we may need a clutch later this year. Since we will need to rely more on the Tacoma, I wanted to find a good repair shop ahead of time.

    Dealerships are not being considered, primarily because of less-than-wonderful experiences with two of them, but also because of unnecessary cost. We want a good, reputable independent shop.

    If you have first-hand experience with such a shop, please pass along the name.
