I just picked up a all-pro bumper for my 09 tacoma. I'm going to be using piaa 510 lights in the bumper.

I've read that people have just spliced the piaa lights into the factory fog light harness. Is this ok to do? I've tried to search and i've gotten mixed answers so hopeing the wiring experts chime in to help me.

I have a aux fuse block that i'm running other lights and accessories off of and i was going to just run new wires for the piaa's but then i came across some people just using the original factory wiring. If it will work fine with just splicing into the factory wiring then i will do that.

Thanks in advance for all your help and i've tried to search but never came across a definite answer if it was okay or not.

It can be done relatively easy. Your best best is to pick up a male pigtail. Solder the pigtail onto the piaa's. This will make it a plug in play system with out hacking up the stock harness.
