2009 Tacoma SR5 pre-runner

My son sent me his stock radio that was in his 2015 Tacoma 4DR to replace radio in my 2009 Tacoma...my question is this...are they the same dimensions and is it going to fit before I go through the trouble of taking mine out? Any help would be appreciated...thanks.
