Just replaced the head and corner lights on my '02 Tacoma as I had broken the tabs on the old corner lights...I have noticed that the corner lights really don't fit flush where they join the headlights.....the bottom tab of the corner lights looks almost too short or something and doesn't "click" into place? Has anyone had a similar experience? Are these parts just bad quality/fitment?

it snaps into the front grille, are you sure the grille isn't cracked where it mounts, its a fairly common weak point there.

No, not cracked. Are these parts just bad quality/fitment?

might be a bad batch for sure or china junk.

I have used many aftermarket lights (mostly "Replacement" or "TYC") and they fit as they should so its probably just that brand

My blacked out aftermarket lights fit oddly as well. It was chalked up to the fiberglass fenders messing things up. For whatever reason it doesn't bother me.

I haven't done mine yet, but I might clear Plasti-Dip my lights for UV protection. You might want to consider that.

I silicone sealed my lights as added precaution. So far no leaks.

I stuck the old OEM corner lights in and they fit flush...
I believe I'll return them and spend the extra $30 and get new set of OEM...

Had the same issue with some replacements. I had to trim the tab of the corner light where it goes into the grill. Fits perfect and flush now.
