I thought I would post up my pictures from the trip in case anyone wanted copies of their trucks. They are all on photobucket, so I'm thinking you can download them from there full resolution (taken with my DSLR). Some are blurry as I messed up a couple of settings. But there are some good pics on here. Let me know if they aren't downloadable.

    Here is the album:

That looked like a great trip! How deep did the water crossings get with all the rain? Didn't look too bad from pics. As well, if one wanted to get away for a quick weekend camp near water, how far along the trail would you need to go to get camping appropriate locations?
Sorry for all the questions, really jealous/sad I did not get to go .

The water really wasn't all too deep where the actual crossings were. If you were playing around, you could obviously get much deeper. I think the deepest crossing was to the top of the axle. Now the deepest part of the trail was a small 4 wheel trail with mud holes. I dropped my front end in a mud bog that was mid grill.

Most of the pics weren't bad, and were the beginning of the trail. The deepest crossings we don't have pictures of because I ran off without the group, and comms didn't reach far enough. So I was in a rush to get back to the group, and then one of the others guys took the loop in a rush to find me and make sure I wasn't lost.

There are camping spots all along the trail, really. The only spot where there isn't camping is about a 1 hour trail. Other than that, the rest of the roads were just washed out dirt roads. There are a lot of 4 wheeler trails along the dirt road, but we didn't venture down any.

Sounds good! I'm still exploring places in MO. There are a few off-road parks, but a lot of their trails are intended for more rock crawler type vehicles. I prefer exploring public land

Close to Springfield, from what I hear it is pretty rough going, but it is near Forest Service and State park lands to explore.

While it does look fun and I'd definitely do it, I think I like the overland style of things a little more.

I agree with the trip in fall. I'm totally fine with K-trail. It's a little more local, and I would like to hit it up eventually.
