    I live in California, I still check for rust on the tacomas I looked at. And let me tell you these trucks and 4runners are a surfers go to vehicle to hit the beach or ski with. And if you know any surfer they could give a shit about rust or maintaining their vehicles. Sorry for stereotyping, but this is from my brother law who is lifeguard at the beach/surfer/snow boarder. last thing on his mind is maintaining his vehicle until his broken down the road. ...
