    hey guys,

Later than sooner I plan on lifting my 2012 Tacoma reg. cab. I know what lift kit I want, but I'm having some trouble figuring out exactly what I want to regarding shocks and struts, skid plates, lower control arm plates? What do you all suggest would be a solid off-road suspension setup?

Intended use should always be the priority in picking your components. Use your money wisely and do it right the first time. It becomes a slippery slope from there because you'll want to keep adding parts or upgrading.

Lol, and then add some more and then add some more, then upgrade.

I researched for months and talked to venders as well as read every thread I could find before I finally decided and am glad I did. I am extremely happy with my set up and it fits exactly what I wanted but may not work for what you want.

As far as skid plates go, I have BAMF LCA skids and AllPro front IFS and trans skids and love them. BAMF runs "deals of the day" where a randomly picked item is 20-30% off.

BAMF seems to me like one of the best. I really would like to get some information on this brand as well as ICON. If I could see what some of your alls setups are, then I'm sure that that will be where I will really am able to figure out what I want.
