I recently bought some rock sliders and will be welding them on this weekend. I was thinking of using roll on bed liner to seal them. Any suggested products or alternative methods? I would like the sliders to be protected from rust, and have a black finish.

I buy spray on bedliner paint from lowes. I absolutely love it. I did all my emblems with it. It gives a great rough and tough finish that can handle abuse. Just make sure to put a few layers on it. And give it 24 hours to fully dry before you plan on using them. I believe it is rustoleum. It's about 7 dollars but it's worth it. Let me know if you give it a try. Good luck!

I used duplicolor bed armor on mine. It looks great, is solid, and is black.

Thanks for the info. Mine stop rogue doors as well. One of the main reasons i got them. Was hoping the jackass at the supermarket tonight would test them out, he pulled in tight next to me. He got away unscathed. :annoyed:

it is the main reason i got them. I still avoid close parking situations, they are just my backup plan haha. I think im gonna go to the local post office sometime soon and "test them out". Our post office is door-ding heaven. It will be great fun watching the imbociles beat up their doors on my sliders:spy:
