Bilstein 5100's up front set @ 2.5 inch with 1 inch block in back UPDATE as of 06/14: 4inch rough country upfront with Bilsteins set at .85 for total lift of 4.85 and rear with 2 inch block with Bilsteins 5100's shocks. UPDATE as of 0615 4 inch lift Rough country with Bilsteins set at 2.5 and rear 2 inch add a leaf with 3 inch block sitting on 285/75-17 34's...
Hello fellas, I'm looking for useful insight into my current situation.

    PREVIOUS LIFT:
    FRONT:
Rough Country drop bracket 4" lift
    Bilstein 5100's set at .85".
    stock coils
    stock UCA
    REAR:
    3 inch block.
    Tires 285/75/17 34's
Everything looks good rides great with the exception of:

1 PROBLEM: The front R tire would touch cab mount while steering R on a down slope curved road.
To resolve that issue I changed my setting as follows

    CURRENT LIFT:
    FRONT
I changed the adjustable Bilstein 5100's setting to 2.5 inch
Added a 2 inch AAL to the rear.

Problem solved with the tire rubbing on the cab mount.
NEW PROBLEM: I don't like the touchyness of the steering while driving on the freeway.

I am assuming it's because of the Bilstein setting at 2.5 preloads the front coils. Please correct me I'm wrong.

    Possible solution:

#1 Change the RC 4" strut spacer to the RC 6" strut spacer and reset Bilsteins to .85"

#2 Change the front coils to OME 884 to get the 2" lift and reset Bilsteins at .85"

Any and all insight into my situation will be greatly appreciated.
