I had about 7 to choose from but I got me a white one again. So much cooler with the Texas sun beating down on it.
I did a lot of soul searching trying to decide on a 6 or 4 cylinder. The 6 really kicks butt. My daughter has a 06 Tundra with the 4L V6. The 2.7 is not a jack rabbit. It's pretty dang slow but........ it gets pretty good gas milage. It seems like the tranny does not want to go over 2K unless you really press down on the pedal. But if I drive 65 my scan gauge says I'm getting over 30MPG. But my in town is about 22mpg. Anyway with the firestone tires it drives like a mid size car. Nice ride. If there were no Tacoma's I would have bought a Chevy Colorado. It had better pick up than the Tacoma and a nice ride too. The Nissan Frontier was too bumpy and noisy.
