    i thought about putting mine there but it'll be so easy for someone to smash your window and rip it off.

    Basically above your left shin when you're sitting in the driver's seat.

    There was a black plastic cap over mine. Stick your head in the footwell and look up and to the left.

    if i'm not mistaken if you read the directions it'll say where it is. if not go to the left side of the steering wheel and scan your way down to the footrest. there will be a cap that says "obdII"
