Android is based on the Linux Kernal, not the same thing. I wasn't about to go into detail about specific Linux Distro's.

His bait wasn't that great (I'm not an idiot, I understood the stirring the pot reference) I just enjoy debating the argument which has no resolution, especially when bored at work.

Look out for snakes in the grass guerrilla marketing.
If so then just find a different manufacturer that still has expandable capability, that's a strength of using android as the phone os, multiple manufacturers competing. That said, a quick look turned up this:

Sigh, sorry I got drawn into this, enjoy discussing it, I am out :)

Without Jobs Apple as totally lost their edge. Their new watch looks like a Casio from the 80's.

I know! That the first thing I thought of when I saw it. Pretty damn cool when I was 12, but not so much the second time around.

They will refine it. In a few years everyone will be wearing them. I remember when cell phones first came out. Everyone thought why in the world do I need a cell phone.

Who's ordering their Watch tomorrow? The wife was going to get me one for Father's Day but I think I'll tell her to hold off after I watched a few reviews.

I am going to go and get the new Macbook though. In Slate Grey. :taco:

Who needs expandable memory anymore? It's all about cloud storage now. I've been on a 16gb iphone with no memory issues because all my media gets sent to icloud (which I can then access from any device) and all my music is on spotify,

Besides, more hard drive space won't make your phone run any faster or smoother. It's all about the RAM (random access memory), which in most phones, it is what it is and you can't add more.

Ordered my MacBook Retina. Over a month until delivered.

Watch sold out almost immediately. Some orders won't arrive until August. That's for the $10,000+ Edition.

    Yep, Apple is DOOMED! ;)

I always wanted something on my wrist that lets me know when the thing on my hip was ringing. Ideally they will follow up with something i can keep in my pocket that will tell me the thing on my wrist is telling me the thing on my hip is ringing.

I stopped wearing a watch 15 years ago.

Ended up ordering one for Father's Day with the thought that I could 1. Return it. 2. Sell it. Maybe for a profit. 3. Keep it.

It showed up today and the wife has mentioned that she wants one for her Birthday, early July, so we're going to order her one once she decides if she wants the 38mm or 42. I suggested she hold off on ordering until mine arrived and she could see if the 42mm is too big. I recommend the 42mm for the larger screen and it's not too big on my wrist. I was expecting bigger.

Off to check CL to see what these are selling for. Still can't get them in store and the wait is still fairly long. But Apple claims you'll be able to buy one in store in June. June 30th is still June. ;)

It's not as big as it seems on my wrist. I also have very thin wrists and dainty hands. :p

Liked the first one so much I bought the SS w/ sapphire crystal for me and the wife.

Here's how to think about it. It's a watch first and everything else second. If you've worn a watch before the Watch then it's the best thing since sliced bread. If you're just now wearing a watch because of the Watch and you expect it to act like your phone, then you'll likely be disappointed.
