Questions first, and you can sift through my story if you're bored...

1)Thoughts on an OME Kit, What are the pros and cons of the "heavy kit."
2)Does anyone have a Toytec Ultimate? Opinions?
3)Does a 3" kit lift the truck 3" from the TRD Off Road height? Or less?
    4)How silly is question 3?
5)285/75R16 will fit just fine? Look too small?

A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to pick up a '13 DCSB 4x4 TRD Off Road. I've been reading as much as I can stand, and I still can't decide how I should get her sitting a little higher before this winter. I spend all the snowy months in Idaho and Wyoming and drive the Teton pass every day during those months. In other words, I know I need a suspension and tire upgrade.

Is Old Man Emu the way to go? I plan on having a FabFour Front bumper and an ARE Overland, so there will be added weight in the front and back. I also will be going on and over dirt roads 50% of the time out west, however I don't do any climbing or mudd searching, but plenty of pits and divots.

Any photos or suggestions, do's and don'ts, or things to be aware of are greatly appreciated.IMG_3801.jpg

    My Kit:
Full OME 3" lift with 885 coils on 285/75/16's.

1)Thoughts on an OME Kit, What are the pros and cons of the "heavy kit." Yes. With the extra weight on the front that is the route to go.
2)Does anyone have a Toytec Ultimate? Opinions? Not me.
3)Does a 3" kit lift the truck 3" from the TRD Off Road height? Or less? Yes 3".
4)How silly is question 3? Silly.
5)285/75R16 will fit just fine? Look too small? Check my build thread for pics. Have that exact size rubber.

Very Much Appreciated Geekhouse! I like how your truck sits. Thanks again for the help.

#5 look too small- not at all. That's the bet looking size IMO. Fit just fine- not so much. They will fit, but probably will require a little trimming if you don't want to rub. Definitely doable tho. Tons of ppl here run them. If you want fit just fine with no modification go 265/75/16. Good luck

I love my OME/bilstein kit. I got the 887 coils for 3 inches with no heavy bumper. Ride is great. I am running 285/75/16s and had to trim a bit of the front bumper and splash guard, and just a little bit of the fender where the front mudflaps were. 285s give it a very mean look!
