Figured I'd start a build thread for my 95 single cab.
Inherited the truck from my grandpa who inherited it from my great grandpa, who bought it at Big Two Toyota brand new. Stock height, no tint, steel 14s.

My list of mods so far:

Exterior:
Window Tint 5% on rear window and driver/passenger
JNC 005 18x8 +34 225/40R18
01+ red/clear taillights
Roll pan
Shaved tailgate

Interior:
Focal component speakers
Kicker KX200.2 amp
Pioneer double din radio

Engine:
K&N drop in filter
Flowmaster muffler
LCE 2RZ header
Exhaust dump underneath cab

Suspension:
Belltech 2 inch drop coils
Streetacos ball joint flip kit
Belltech 3 inch drop leafs
1 inch block

Pictures attached are when I first got the truck.

 

First thing I did was get it tinted, AZ heat is insane and it was like an oven. No pictures of that. Soon after that, took the hubcaps off and added 2 inch blocks to level it.

 

Put 18 inch Enkeis on it and lowered the front 2 inches with Chassistech coils and put 3 inch blocks in the back. Blacked out grill and bumper with plastidip. Went through a weird phase where I put electrical tape X's on headlights.... Because racetruck?

 

Thanks to Seth (AZ lowtacoma) for the shaved tailgate, got one on the truck. Also got a rollpan from Grant Kustoms and relocated my license plate to the front of bed.

 

Swapped out old tails for 01+ red/clears and got tailgate and rollpan temporarily plastidipped white to be kind of similar. Doesn't match my faded paint from 1995 but whatever... Also installed my Belltech drop leafs from summit racing.

 

Went through some 17 inch BSA motorsports wheels and cut the chassistech coils for fun. Seth gave me some belltechs he had laying around since he went legit and got some QA1s. Swapped out for some JNC 18x8 +34 on 225/40R18. After running cut drop coils for a while, finally got tired of staring at a USPS box filled with a ball joint flip from Streetacos and installed it. Kept the cut coils in and went down to 7 inch drop up front. Had to 3 point turn my way out of the garage. Was completely undrivable and it was late. Calls for fender pulling/rolling but I'll get to that eventually because 7 inches looked goooooood. Swapped in the Belltech 2 inch drop coils I had from Seth and took it back to 5 inch drop so I could drive to work the next day.

Just went lower in the back. Now it's 5.5/7. Gotta reroute my exhaust and then I'm gonna try to take it 7/9 or 6/8

 

yeahh go 7/9 need a side shot not a bottom up shot. cheee sick thought did you c notch it yet?

 

I'll get one in the am. And naw I haven't notched it yet, I'm doing that soon though. I have an inch of travel and I knew I would and that I need to notch it. I just got bored and wanted the back low cuz I was sick of people telling me it looked stupid haha

Seth posted pictures of my fenders, we did a little trimming of the inside fender to clear tire because I took the front back down to 7 inch drop with ball joint flip, belltech drop coils with a coil cut off, and 69 camaro shocks. Also rolled the fenders out with the help of a local Miata driver lol

 

I swapped out the bumper for a 4WD bumper and valence off of the 95 Tacoma. Gave it a more aggressive look and the quality of the bumper is not that bad. Got the set from Certafit for 110.

 

Started a local truck club called No Warranty Minitrucks for those that are lowered or lifted 2 inches or more.
