Tacoma Lean but opposite?

So I have a 2014 DCLB and it is definitly leaning about an inch lower on the passenger side. From everything I have read it is usually the drivers side that is low? Anyone else have this and what would the remedy be. I read about spacers for the front strut, should I just put one of those in on the passenger side? What about the back of the truck, Is there something I should do to the leaf springs on the passenger side, they definitely seem to sit with less of an arch than the drivers side when static. Thanks for any input!

 

Did you measure it out to confirm it was actually leaning? If so, mind posting your numbers here?

 

Yes I did measure it and depending on where I parked it was between 1/2" to 1" Lower on the passenger side. I will remeasure and post numbers.

 

passenger frame front- 13-7/8"
Drivers- 14-1/4"

Passenger door bottom- 19-1/2"
Drivers- 20"

Passenger fender flare bottom wheel centerline- 34-3/4"
Drivers 35-1/8"

Passenger rear flare bottom wheel centerline- 36-1/2"
Drivers- 37-1/8"

So parked in my garage its about 3/8-1/2" off side to side. I measured bigger differences parked elsewhere, but honestly the 1/2" bugs me. I can feel it driving and see it parked. I had an 08 dclb and never had a level issue, just got this 14 and this is driving me nuts. So what would I do to level out the rear if I get a 1/2" spacer for the front strut? Also, where would one find a 1/2" spacer?

Edit: just wanted to ad, Had the truck aligned yesterday and everything is in spec, and it drives perfectly fine. This is just bothersome cosmetically more than anything

 

is it stock suspension? is spring seated in perch correctly?

 

is your girlfriend sitting in the passenger seat when you measure?

 

Oooo got my hopes up with that one, looked for a second like the drivers spring was somehow rotated but pulled the wheel and it isnt. I dont know, am I the only person to ever have reverse Taco-lean? I just ordered a 10mm lift enhancer kit that I plan on installing on the passenger side only, what does one do to ad 10mm ride height to the passenger leaf springs?

I have read that the leaf springs are not symetrical but are arched more on the drivers side versus passenger. Anyone confirm this? and anyone have a drivers side leaf spring leftover that they want to part with that I could install on my passenger side? Im happy to pay shipping and a couple $ for it.

 

3/8 to 1/2 inch really. That isn't nothing... If you hadn't measured you would probably never know.

 

You're under warranty...take it to the dealer and have them look at it.

 

Dealers dont touch my stuff anymore. Too many bad experiences. I guess Im just going to throw the 10mm spacer onto the passenger side, and try to figure out a way to level the rear as well. Any suggestions on that would be appreciated.

 

Air bags in the rear . Sounds like a bum passenger side spring.

I've been taking measurements in preparation for my 5100 Bilstein installation on my 2015 DC TRD Off road. I think the suspension is still settling in (only have 2300 miles on the odometer), but my driver side rear is .50"-.75" lower than passenger rear. Doesn't taco lean just affect the front end? My gas tank was only 1/4 full at the time.
