I want to take my taco out on trails but I'm not really sure how well it will do on trails becuase its 2wd. Has anybody taken their 2wd tacos out on trails or 4x4?

and it doesnt have a locker.

Air down and keep in mind you are only 2wd. Tap your traction control button to turn on AutoLSD to help you!

    Auto LSD is pretty good.

Sometimes I'll use it if I have to make a tight turn to get out of somewhere/turn around. 4WD would bind and without Auto LSD it won't budge.

If you're in San Diego, you could check out Anza-Borrego/Ocotillo Wells. If you were to air down your tires a bit, you could cruise a majority of the park in 2wd. Just use some common sense before getting yourself in a bad situation.

Just use common sense and know your limitations.I have a 2wd TRD sport prerunner and have lots of fun and succes on trails.

2 spare rims with full size paddles on em.... probably get you more places than a 4wd with AT tires in the sand haha.

2wd always impresses me with a little weight in the back... that stated im not afraid to go places in 2wd where i might get stuck, cus i just flip a switch and go.... 4wd thank god.
