Ok, tried searching all over and couldn't find my answer, which surprised me because I know this is a common problem, so apologies if I'm re-hashing something due to my poor search techniques. I've got an ARB bumper and have stock DRLs, which, as many others have experienced, often cut in and out after a few minutes of driving due to the increased load from the bumper lights. LEDs seem to be the way to go for the DRL to reduce the load on the DRL module. My question is, will I still need a resistor to avoid hyperflash, since the drl module would be supplying power to both the ARB bumper lights and the LED running lights?

Just get a V3 Triton Switchback kit: bright white LED DRLs combined with bright amber LED turn signal, load resistor included and super easy to install.

You could also install a relay harness to power the ARB lights. If you wanted to have each light act as a turn signal you would need two relays. This would take the load off the module.

Just thought I'd give a follow-up on what I ended up with for lights. I bought two of these LEDs: https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...ed-tower-b-type-wedge-retrofit-car/1777/4121/ Installed them with no issues, no hyperflash, and no more running lights cutting out after a few minutes of driving. I initially ordered two resistors thinking I'd need them to prevent hyperflash, but the extra lights in the bumper apparently made them not necessary. Definitely a simple fix.
