It's like a little "brrrrrrrp" noise I hear and feel at start up, doesn't happen again driving. Only happens at star up. I have to admit I'm proud of myself for not wigging out over it like I usualy do, obsessive compulsive ( boy do I wish I wasn't. As always thank you in advance guys.

    thanks.

on the newer tacomas (2012-2015 i believe) the brake booster isnt a vacuum booster like older vehicles. its an electronic brake booster i believe. they act a little differently than a vacuum booster does

Well that's sounds like what it is Dan, as it is a 2015. I can't express enough gratitude for you taking the time to reply, I just want to enjoy my new truck and not worry about problems. I have a Whindham I bought 3 years ago and made it tactical cool

The ABS modulator is priming. This is normal.

no worries man. if somebody else believes its something else, please chime in.

i sold my DPMS about 2 years ago for my windham. best decision ive made in a while. its an absolute dream to shoot and the aimpoint i have on it is just amazing. i didnt go all "tacticool" on mine though lol. everything thats on it is there for a reason. the spikes dynacomp compensator i have is great at keeping the gun pretty much recoil-less

Dan when I decided to buy one, for once or maybe twice in my life I slowed down and did my research. First thing I liked and honestly the biggest reason I went with Whindham was the whole CEOS hiring back all the old employees, if only a majority of bosses gave that much concern about their employees. Then I put on some A.R.M.S flip up sights ( made in Mass) and a hand gaurs ( made in Mass) and a Magpul grip and trigger guard),

if you have an 09+ TRD OR 4x4 you have the electric boosted master cylinder / abs / traction control unit all in one. The sound you hear is the electric pump building pressure in the accumulator.

ONLY the 09+ TRD OR 4x4's have this.... ALL other 2nd gens regardless of year have the vacuum boosted master with separate abs / traction control unit.
