    There might be some for a Lexus. I remember looking for some the other week with a buddy and they were pretty close to the same but extended. Look into it.

    The oem are plastic too with a chrome plating on them, may be a little stronger than aftermarket but I doubt it

    Making progress. This is really a pretty easy job. Anyways should I hear or feel the new ball joint 'pop' into place? I see the torque spec is 1p3 ft lb

    Coolio. Driver done. Passenger tomorrow. Figure without a break and factoring in first time doing it, I'd say the other side will be a 2hr max job :) pretty easy peasy and peace of mind.

    About to attempt steering shaft weld mod. I read the post #42 on TTORA and it looks way easier than the original method to remove steering shaft thing.

    Guess it all just depends on what aftermarket ones you go with but I would buy after market vs paying triple the price for oem being that they are both plastic

    So I'm in the middle of trying to get the steering wheel out.. I got pretty much everything out except I can't figure out how to get this bolt thing out.. (The shiny thing right under the tilt lever)

    Has anyone done the steering weld mod on a 95.5-97? It's definitely different than the later models, there is no Allen bolts on mine at all.. None that I can see at least.
