Hi all, new guy here. I have been lurking around this site for about 2 weeks and have obtained a lot of useful information from the many well informed members thanks for that. One question i still have is what brand of steel black 16 x 8 rims with around a 4 inch back spacing can i fit on my 2007 sr5 toyota tacoma v6 4.0 liter access cab 4x4? I tried the vision 16x8 steel wheels with 4 inch back spacing and they would not fit with my large front brake calipers (the spoke of the front wheel was hitting the front caliper). Any help with this question would be greatly appreciated. The next step for my build is around a 1.5 lift all around manly for a better ride. i plan on going with add a leaf in the back, larger springs in the front and new shocks all around. I am researching the lift right now if any one has done the same set up i would love to here about it. Thank you from a proud toyota tacoma owner.

Welcome! I can't help on the wheels. I think for the lift you might be interested in the bilstein 5100 shocks. I have the 5100s, OME 887 coils and an AAL I'm very happy with it. Check them if you haven't already..

So after researching I think I am going with 5100 all around 884 OME spring in the front and a 1.5 aal in the back. According to my info this will give me around 2 inch in the front and 1.5 in the back. Do you guys think I will need a cv drop? Or can I get away with 2 to 1.75 lift on the front with out a cv drop? I am looking for a better ride for the truck this is my work truck so I want to keep it very functional. Couple other project I want to do are reassessing the billet grill, Quieting the motor tick and putting a bar light on the lower portion of the grill.

I think you will like that lift a lot. You don't need the drop. Check headstrong off-road if you haven't already, they have a great price on that exact kit.
