First off sorry if this was asked before, I couldn't find answer. I have a 08 OR tacoma (access cab). I installed a set of bilstein 5100 all around. front bilsteins set to .85 with factory off road springs. It gave the little lift i wanted. The problem is it's hard ride in the front. I feel every bump and seems to have more bump steer. I want to replace front springs with ome 844's. There's posts on here that say they wont work with bilsteins. My question is. Post say they aren't good for the struts but why is that? Any help would be useful. Thanks in advance.

Seriously you find the ride hard? And have bump steer? Did you get it aligned afterwards? Will the 5100's works with the OEM springs? Yes they will but they are designed to work with OEM shocks. Get some Eibachs 620's put it 0 or .85 and you will love it.

thanks for input. I did have aligned. I was told the hard ride could be from off road springs and being pre loaded. I want to put bilsteins to 0 but keep the lift. I alreading have the aal in back. Will the Eibachs 620's keep lift. lift is about 1 1/2 with bilsteins set to .085 and stock OR springs.

Eibach's at 0 will give you 1.6 inches of lift. At .85 will give you almost 3 inches
