Went from second gen to first gen! New to tacoworld :)

    Had a 2006 trd crew cab but some bastard stole it out of my drive way.
    Now i have a bmw as a daily driver but i think everyone always needs to have a truck around!
    Bought my 2004 sr5 tacoma stick 2.4, 180,000 miles, CLEAN AS A WHISTLE
    literally 9.5/10 interior and exterior. got it for $3500 while its listed on kelly blue book for $8,000. what a steal right??? Any suggestions the first things i should do to her? i was thinking lift kit with some beefy wheels

    Also quick question, do people off-road there 4 bangers? probably stupid question but i dont wanna look dumb if i decided to go with lift and offroad wheels

    There is an alarm system on it right now, but i think its just factory? Bakersfield Cali

    Nice 1 series and welcome. Typically with the 2wd's people build prerunner's. The whole 2wd rock crawler idea hasn't quite caught on yet. But you will not be banished which ever route you choose to go with the build. To each his own. We respect that. Hell I might even put double beadlocks on my 2wd.

    thanks for the reply guys! i wont do any crazy rock climbing, just a few dirt roads here and there.
