i have a 2015 TRD and I have a 2.5 lift in the front and 1.25 in the rear. I was considering going with a 265/75 tire, it's about an inch and a quarter larger than stock and gives my a lot of wheel movement. I see a lot of people going 285/75, to me that seems alittle over kill and your wheel doesn't have that much room to move. Thoughts please. How I have a 2.5 Eibach lift in the front And 1.25 lift in rear

I have 285/70/17's. I had to do a bit of trimming inside the fender well. I am also in need of a cab mount chop but that location only rubs when in reverse and full turn lock. I had 265's for a few days after I got my 3" lift, before I switched to the 285's and I thought the 265's looked goofy.

I'd say if you plan to wheel a lot, and flex out your truck stick with the 265's unless you plan to trim and adjust and trim and adjust.

See the 265/70 compared to 265/75 are dramatically different. I think the difference is 1 3/4 from 70 to 75

The 265/75 series in 1" taller than the 265/70 series... it will add 1/2" more ground clearance (on my truck from 9.25" to 9.75") under the rear differential. They also do NOT rub on or off road with stock suspension. I have a 2010 4WD DC Off Road TRD. When the Rugged Fail T/As are replaced, I put on 265/75-16 tires... did the same on my 2005 Tacoma, as well.

does that inch difference look good? does it fill that gap better. I have 2 1/2 lift front and 1.25 inch rear

Anything bigger looks better for an off road truck! Because you have a lift, you can go bigger than the 265/75's as well.

For me its the width difference that I am choosing 265/75/16. It wont rub on anything.
