Anybody else have this happen with their Bestop? If yes, what did you do to fix it?

    Reserected from the dead.
Pull out the pin and replace with bolt and Nut. Use a nylanut for added security.

Drilled it out and put in a stainless 1/4 x 1 1/2 bolt with a stainless nut with nylon insert  Need to cut off the excess bolt, but it got dark on me.

The same shit everyone else has.
    Easy peasy.

I bout my Bestop used and all the rivets were trashed -

IIRC, they are m5x30 machine screws with nylock nuts on them. The nylock lets you snug them but with out over tightening.

Mine rusted and I replaced with stainless steel, I think #10 bolts. I emailed Bestop they should be using SS bolts/nuts; they said they would review my request. That was about three years ago. I doubt anything changed.
