I need some help. I am in the market for some new tires and maybe some wheels as well. I either want to get some 265/75/16 or get the TRD 17" FJ wheels and 285/70/17. Either one of them I was going to get the Spidertrex 1.25 inch spacer. If I go with either one of these will my tires rub?
My current lift is a 2.5 Eibach lifting spring in the front with the 1/4 inch spacer driver side for the taco lean and 1.25 in lift in the rear.

Pretty much any tire that is over sized will most likely have some rubbing. I have 285/70/17 BFG's on wheels with 4.5 backspacing with around 2.5 in lift. With that I needed minor trimming to get it to clear at first, but, after my last alignment they rubbed worse. Not that big of a deal to me, did a cab mount chop rolled the pinch weld and some more trimming of some plastic. No rubbing now even at full compression and most people never notice the inner fender trimming that I did unless I point it out.
