Hey guys, figured I'd throw together a build thread to help me track mods and share photos. I traded in my 12' GMC on this truck and was sorry to leave the power behind but I love this new truck in every other way.
Ordered it October 3rd of 14 and took delivery January 6th, 2015.

    The Truck:

2015 TRD Sport Access Cab 4x4 MGM 6 speed with every option except JBL

    First impressions:

It rides way nicer than my 2wd GMC did. The 6 speed is awesome although my other DD is a 13' BRZ with a short throw shifter so switching back and forth throws me for a loop. It seems to have a decent amount of power for what it is. Alot of people claim the 4.0 is lazy and doggy but maybe the 6 speed makes up for it? Anyway I wasted no time getting black SEMA 4runner wheels and 265/70/17 Duratracs mounted. Then I dipped the emblems. The tires rubbed badly on the front flaps so i pulled them off along with the rears. I installed the husky liners (xact contour) after reading the review here on TW and I love them. Also I put in the TRD quick shifter and knob and had the windows tinted.

    I have ordered:

    Front Bilstein 5100s
    Rear window security bar
    Mirror relocation bracket
    LED interior bulbs
DDM 5k HIDs for the fogs lows and highs
    Ridgid bumper brackets

I already have a 30" Totron light bar that was going on my RZR but its going to be put on the taco instead with a factory foglight switch.

I look forward to modding this thing once its got some miles on it. I'm hoping to have the TRD blower put on in June for my bday. I spent all of those funds on an engagement ring for my new fiance...

Awesome man. I just took delivery of a truck the other day that looks exactly like yours but different wheels, hood and graphics (mine has a locker :)). I agree mine doesn't feel dodgy at all with the manual. How much of an improvement was the quick shifter? I'm coming from a wrx with a short shifter (should be almost the same as the brz) and I want to head in that direction. Good choice? Best color btw!

The manual in these trucks was never meant to be rushed but the quick shifter certainly helps in that regard. The TRD part is expensive but I'd buy it again. The install was easy and the truck feels so much better. The kartboy short shift in my BRZ is retarded short but it's great for hooning around town.

    Small update:

Today I received my mirror bracket and ddm hid kits. The lights are awesome! Also mounted my lightbar in the bumper so I have an excuse to order the foglight switch and pigtail.

And I towed my 6x12 trailer and rzr 130 miles. It was ok but I was used to my 380whp gmc so the blower just moved up on the mod list lol.

    Update:

MattGecko rear window security bar installed
    ImMrYo mirror relocation bracket installed
    Interior led's installed
Totron light bar installed with OEM switch

I've got 5100's front and rear here ready to install just trying to decide between .85 and 1.75. I've also gotten on the WO group buy list and look forward to getting them ordered and installed. I've been tracking my gas mileage heavily lately just to get a good idea of what I'm doing. The best tank 90/10 highway/city has been 17.1 staying under 67. Kind of bummed I haven't seen better yet.

    Update:

Crawford performance Q1 installed. I noticed a difference immediately. I wouldn't say it's any more powerful but is feels "smoother" in power. I haven't been through a full tank yet to see any mileage difference but it already looks promising. It was worth the $45.

I also took this evening to clean out the garage and install my rear 5100s. All I can say is holy shit the difference is night and day with only the rears changed. For $75 a shock this is the best suspension upgrade I've ever done on any of my vehicles.

I've decided to set the front 5100s to .85 and I'm hoping to install them Sunday if everything works out.

I took some pictures to show the size difference between stock and 5100s

Got a free ACCESS LITE RIDER 35179 for redeeming my hotel rewards. Install was less than 30 minutes. I'm stoked to have better dryish storage options.

    Small update:

5100's set at .85 are installed and I had the guy set my caster to 2.5. It looks like it moved the wheels way far forward and away from anything that could possibly rub. It rides great, slightly firmer but in a good way. The truck still sits a little nose low but it's fine when the rzr is loaded up.

Got my wet okole covers on and seat heaters installed. I bought the eBay heaters with factory type dash switches and so far they are great!

Also I received my supercharger and fit kit from Toyota of Dallas last week and just scheduled the install for the 22nd. I'm stoked!

Looking to do the 2wd low mod for backing up a loaded trailer. Reverse in these 6 speeds is a bitch. I swear this thing would do 40mph in reverse.

I'll update pics next time she gets a wash.

I'm officially boosted. All I can say is "wow". I've read a lot of the forced induction threads on here and xru but I wasn't prepared for how much better the truck is to drive. This tank will be poor because I love the whine. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to jump to a full size because they are feeling underpowered. My Amazon cart is full:

    Flexpod
    Innovative lc1 wideband
    Auto meter digital boost gauge
    Aem no weld O2 mount
    AFE cai
    Magnaflow 12586 or Urd catback

I will note that I am currently running the maf spacer but until I have a wide band I can't say how it has helped or hurt.

Just swapped in some redline mt 90. Instantly better high rpm 1-2 and 2-3 shift. Make sure your truck is level or you won't get more than a quart of fluid in. Almost 1k miles on the supercharger and things have settled in. It runs like an animal. I should have my gauge setup this weekend then I'll look at adding the AFE intake, 2.85 pulley, and exhaust. I don't miss my gmc at all now that I have enough power. Some day I'll have her cleaned up enough to take pics.

Got my gauges in!!!! Nice to see how things are doing before any boltons. The no weld O2 bung was sweet. Super easy, drill a hole and put on the clamp. I'm seeing 5.5psi max and as low as 9.8:1 AFR.

That's why I'm wanting the AFE CAI. I think the SC tune will handle it fine. It's only more money...more things in my garage not getting installed...

I've been digging through all of the s/c + cai threads and no one has actually said yes it leans things out nicely. I also have the maf spacer so I was hoping it would help slightly in that regard. Either way as you mentioned I will end up with the AFE dry setup next paycheck. Then the 2.85 stealth pulley.... Then the 22" magnaflow...then the Urd pump/filter kit.. Does your afr drop into the 9's when your hammer down?

Thanks! It's slow going so far but I'm enjoying the truck. Next stage will be armor.
