Late Model Race Car

    I thought that this would be more of an appropriate build thread than my truck since this is an actual build and not just modifications. This car is my uncle's and has been sitting since 99. I have finally talked him into getting it back out, so here it is:

    My uncle told me that it is going to be up to me whether this car gets running again or not. The only time frame we have is to get it going by next spring if we decide to race it again.
    The first thing to be done is to completely break the car down and clean it, which I have started on this week. I'll post more pictures as I progress through this if y'all are interested if not then whatever.

    It would be a much easier job if some rats hadn't made their homes in it. You can see a nest in the picture behind the windshield haha

    The car has now been broken down and the chassis has been cleaned. Now its time to clean/sandblast parts and put it back together.

    Yes, I have sandblasted all the suspension parts, painted them, and put the car back together. Haven't decided on a body to hang on it, but it is just missing a motor now. Sorry, no pictures yet
