    Hey guys,

So I took a peek under my 2008 TRD OR 4x4 double cab tonight to see that there is fluid coming out of the rear differential housing and the transmission. I am not very technically inclined, so I don't really know what I'm doing here. The leaks on the transmission seem to happen around the seals, so could that be it? It's enough fluid leaking that it allows the fluid to spray onto the crossmember. As for the rear differential, I couldn't really discern what the source of the leak is unless theres a hairline fracture in the housing that allows it to slowly leak out.

I don't really wheel that often, but I took off road pretty recently, and I believe that may have had something to do with it. The differential housing looks like it took a hit. I have attached some pictures below:

I can definitely get more pictures upon request. Any help would be appreciated!!!

    Jeff

Edit: Truck has 98,000 miles on it.

First thing I would do is clean those spots with some brake clean and wait a wk or 2 to see if they come back.
