I have read spacers suck, offer a super harsh ride. I have the 5100s and I like them for a beginner lift. Cheap and ride way better than stock.

    Too few to list.
I have a beater that I wanted to lift just a bit (not Tacoma) and placed 1" spacers on it. Rode terribly. Stiff and bumpy. Pulled the spacer out a week later and replaced it with better lifting coils.

I did lift Tacoma's with 5100's at 1.75". Ride is stiffer than stock but I did have the linear (sport) coils. I did the same with the OR and honestly, couldn't tell the difference in ride quality. 2.5" setting and it's stiff as hell. Switched to OME 885's and all is well.

Just an FYI. Due to the progressive spring the OR uses, going the 5100 might not be the best route with your springs. You can fix that by changing out the springs to the Eibach 1.6" lift springs and run a 1/4" plate on the driver side.

I run the Eibach springs with the 5100's set @ 0.85 along with the TSB rear leaf pack and an Icon AAL and have almost the stock rake with my ARB. I would probably be very close to level with the TSB pack and no AAL. You would probably be very close to level with the 5100/Eibach set at 0.

Also please note that lifting your truck may result in 25-40 MPH vibrations becoming more pronounced from your front differential. East Coast Gear Supply makes a bushing that supposedly clears up this issue. I am installing my bushing this weekend to combat the vibrations.

5100s set @ 0 is the better of the two options.

Spacer lifts just aren't an option. At least they shouldn't be.

have tried both the spacers and 5100s on different vehicles. the shocks are a better ride. Recent issue of 4 wheeler off road recommends shocks if you want more than a mall crawler. Spacers change the way your suspension functions off road. Will do the shocks when I get the money.

5100 all around set the fronts to 2.5" setting. the back is stock height. Little stiff but looks awesome. Had 2" spacers before the 5100 upgrade it was a horrible ass ride. Now it feels solid as hell!
