Dome Light LED install: Pilot brand

Could be they updated.


Okay here's a shot from outside the cab rear, looking in... can't hardly see the light.

 

I'm thinking about the glove box AND the console next. Only I'm thinking strip lights. Maybe.

 

Yup, My guess is the bulbs have been updated and the one I grabbed just happened to be an old one.

FYI I've seen at least a couple posts on the forum with a good glove box light mod. You've prob seen them.

 

I've seen the super clean one where just the led is showing through a little rubber grommet or something, looked really clean and professional, may do that or just come up with my own method

 

Yes I have. There's a couple of good ones, and out there on YouTube. But like everything else, I have to really ponder what I want.

I'll get to that project eventually, have to do my brakes, CV shafts, and all my switches installed first

Very nice in red. Looks tactical. Nice Steve.

 

I like the red cause it doesn't catch attention when they are on and your able to see fairly well, and it was under 10.00

I have this light bulb but I have the cool white ones. I like it a lot because the only time I have this light on is when I'm looking for something and it really does a good job of lighting up the cab.
