Going long travel - would like some opinions before pulling the trigger.

Did you use the impact wrench to pop out the old bushings? The tutorial I read had them Sawzall and torched out

 

No, impact was for getting everything out and back in quickly. I've never removed old bushings before. You might have to take the sawzall to them

I would do some more research into Mid Travel and Long travel on here before you decide to spend a couple grand hehe.

I read this entire thread, it's pretty clear the LT is all wrong, however for what he wants the price is pretty good for the Fox's, springs and axles.
Like getting a shitty LT kit for free...

 

I was actually thinking of axing the LT kit and getting everything else from him.

Pretty sure $900 off if I drop the LT.

So like $1100 for shocks and axles.

P.S. can anyone answer this?

My first question is what is the deal with coilover and air bump stops VS coilover and bypass
shocks? Air bumps aren't in my quote I've noticed.

 

Just don't man. I wouldn't even do business with someone like that. You don't know where he got the shocks and how they are tuned and everything.

Well, that looks like a 2nd gen kit anyways, 2nd gens can only fit bumps or bypasses. AFAIK 1st gens can fit all 3....so I dunno

As a first gen you might as well take advantage of what you can. You don't NEED LT, but it would be great to have
