Hi, new here. sorry if this post has been discussed already. i will appreciate if you direct me to a right place. I am in the process of buying 2015 tacoma 4x4 double cab. But since the 16 model is around the corner what is the price i should pay for 2015 tacoma? so far two dealers: http://www.grandblancmotorcarstoyot...a-Tacoma-dc7564280a0a0065012b8375fa91a9cb.htm
says my final price will be $35,644.30. and the other dealer: http://ebay.vinmanager.com/photoviewer.aspx?ID=25442498
asking what my price is, saying that they cannot go below 32K.

both of them are double cab with trd sport extra value pkt etc. i understand the options might flactuate the numbers but in general, what should i settle for? i think toyota has 0% financing incentive on 15 tacomas now.

    Any suggestions?

    thank you all

It depends on options. Get on a site like carsdirect and price out options. It will give you an idea where you should be.

The dealers will negotiate better for the vehicle they have on the lot. The larger dealers of course have more of an inventory. Make sure you have your own financing already lined up with your bank or credit union and don't play their stupid games. Walk away from the high pressure tactics. Give them as little information as possible other than you are ready to buy and have the money now. I have seen the state "border" dealers do better than the local big city dealers...i.e. the Georgia dealer on 95 just north of Jacksonville, FL. Maybe there are state/regional incentives being offered. I once flew to Texas and saved $9K on a vehicle..(worth the $350 ticket and drive home) I also bought a 95 Tacoma in Kansas City while there on vacation because it was $4K better than the prices at home in FL. Depends on the extend you are willing to go to save money.

Sorry for the long post but Superb information, and indeed i was going to ask what would happen if i found a better deal on another state (could i go there, or better of in the same state etc), thanks you answered my question. so did you find the vehicle online, made communications with the dealer and flew there for the final formalities? as i was watching some youtube videos, some say that when you have agreed on the phone and went to the dealership, they will say either the vehicle is sold or some magic happened that you will have to leave. i guess, logically, finding couple dealers and calling to confirm the vehicle is on the lot would be a strategy? i also watched (suckers) movie on youtube and am now really afraid of the dealers. roughly, can i ask the 2015 tacoma http://www.dunningtoyota.com/new/To...3ac29bb00a0a00e00a1ce558ba69c379.htm#packages
for 29K and negotiate up, no down payment or trade in, what do you think would it be a fair offer to them? The dealer lady says the invoice with the options is $32,000.84. i will now start the search nationwide :). I am not particular with options, 4X4 and double cab are must haves, maybe cruise control, the rest are ok really. Never owned a truck, so thought Tacoma would be a good one with less hassle. BTW any websites that can negotiate for you? I saw http://www.unhaggle.com/ that does it, but for some reason the zip codes are not accepted for most cases.

Dont know about other states but Ca makes you pay additional taxes when you buy out of state and try to register it here. This state sucks.

Well I did these deals a long time ago so not sure of the best options today, I don't trust any dealer either so you are smart to be leery. The Texas deal was with a fleet dealer I knew. Tacomas are so in demand, unfortunately it is hard to negotiate.

But you won't pay sales tax in the state you buy it from. With in Ca. they charge you sales tax based upon the county you live in also.

Thank you for all of your suggestions. It looks like price range of 30.5k to 31k is reasonable to pay for 15 tacoma 4x4 double cab trd sport package.
I will try to negotiate with the dealer if they can give 0% financing because one of the other dealers is doing that but their price is 35k. hopefully very soon i will have tacoma avatar as well ). otherwise, well, gotta wait until 16s come out to force dealers to sell (if by then 15s are not sold already).

Costco, AAA, all of them use a truecar like system. I used USAA, printed the lowest price for the exact model I wanted, guaranteed at a nearby dealer, then emailed all of the OTHER dealers asking them to beat that price. I got another $600 knocked off the lowest price.
