Icon AAL install question

    I just got a set of Icon progressive AAL's (waiting for ups on the c/o's) and have a question... I held up the AAL pack to the factory pack in the correct orientation and it looks like a spring wrap would just barely clear the AAL. Would it be ok to just nip a 1/2" or so off the AAL and relocate the friction pad or should I cut that spring wrap off? I have the 3+overload factory leaf pack.

    Thanks for the replies guys... I'll install them as is and see how it goes, if necessary I'll trim just a tad off to be sure they don't bind on the clamp.
