Hey all, new to the forum although I've referred to it many times for certain things. Lots of helpful people here. Anyway, I have an 08 base 4wd access cab. I went to pick up my truck from the body shop the other day after a small fender bender and when I pushed in the clutch it would not release. The body technician said when he parked it it happened and thought it was just my floor mat. I put a new slave cylinder in and and bled the system. Still no pressure on the clutch. The fluid resivour is perfectly full and I see no leaks however the brakes seem spongy and go to the floor. Could this be a problem with the master cylinder ? Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes it could a master cylinder and they can be difficult to bleed.

Ok I'm worried that the clutch could be gone but the truck only has 80,000 miles. I don't beat it and when I do work the truck such as pulling my jon boat up a steep ramp I use 4 low.

Are you talking about your brakes or clutch or both? Also the slave cylinder may not be properly bled. As far as your brakes go it could be a master cylinder. It would be just about impossible to diagnose this problem on line.
